This page documents how subscribers to RegimeSignal consent to receive text messages, what those messages contain, and how a subscriber stops them. It exists so the opt-in flow can be reviewed without an account, because the opt-in control itself sits inside a paid subscriber's account settings.

How a subscriber opts in

There is exactly one opt-in path. Consent is never collected verbally, on paper, in person, by QR code, or by importing a list. It is collected only through the web form shown below.

  1. A person purchases a RegimeSignal subscription at regimesignalai.com.
  2. After purchase, they sign in and open Alerts & Notifications in their account settings.
  3. They switch on SMS alerts and type their own mobile number into the phone field.
  4. They tick a separate, unchecked-by-default consent box directly beneath the phone field. The box is not bundled with the Terms of Service and is not pre-selected.
  5. They save. The consent text, a timestamp, and the number are recorded with the account.

No message is ever sent to a number that has not completed step 4. Consent is not required to purchase or use RegimeSignal — every feature works with email alerts alone.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message. The number is unsubscribed immediately and receives one final confirmation. A subscriber may also switch SMS off in account settings at any time, which deletes the stored number.

What we do with the number

Mobile numbers collected for RegimeSignal Alerts are used only to deliver the alerts described above. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. They are shared only with the messaging carrier and our messaging provider for the sole purpose of delivering these messages. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
